13 Clues Review with the Game Boy Geek

My review of this deduction game that is quick, but feels like a large, deep one. You can see everyone else’s solution as everyone is solving there own crime.

  • One very small rules goof. You give your magnifying glass to the first player that has none going clockwise. If everyone has one, it goes into the supply.
Thank you as always for the great reviews!

  • Bought it and played it! Very nice. I love Mystery of the abbey and in 13 clues I miss the board a bit. Would u suggest a game similar to Mota? I own mystery express but it might be too complicated and less fun… can't find something similar to MotA for a 3 player nights

  • It looks to me like a mix of Code 777 and Telepathy!
Is this one better than these two?!
I´m looking for a game to play with my girlfriend.

  • Great review as usual. However, i was very bummed to learn at the end it is not yet available. Got my hopes up then let me down. Any idea when it will be available in the US?

  • I played a demo of this at Essen, and we found that everyone got to their solution in exactly the same round, which wasn't very satisfying. Is that something you've experienced? I found the same thing happens in Sherlock 13 – everyone knows the answer at the same time so it's just down to the luck of whose turn it is next to be able to guess and take the victory.
