  • Probably all the budget money went to licensing the games and not on the device itself

  • Well sir don't misunderstand me I like your vids a little bit harsh on some things from time to time, but in order to play at a good price a game that old, I hope you werent expecting an AMOLED 1440p samsung screen, of course they're going to use a cheap lcd to play a 40 year old game and make it affordable

  • Haha. I rather just get a GAMEBOY, or use my RetroPie.

  • Im not gonna lie, I really love the way these machines look lol. These would be a fine impulse pickup for like $9.99 each, but $30 for such a low quality screen, AAA alkaline battery consuming, limited device? No thanks lol.

The Shadowgate Keeper July 11, 2020 6:16 pm Reply
  • And us usual, they use NES roms😤

  • I won't buy this. Because too small. Maybe good for kids. Just sell it or give it to your youtube fan as a prize.

  • Skip these garbage stand alone classic hand held systems. Although the packaging evokes heavy nostalgia, we already know they are designed to suck. Save yourself the abuse.

  • 14+ Cuz those violent games be making kids crazy homicidal bro. Keep this under lock & key and your 12yo clear of this before he goes cra cra!

  • I really would not expect a lot from the screen from a cheap little machine that only plays 3 VERY old school games that I'd only pick up and play for 5 minutes. I don't think this is worth getting just for the amount of space that it takes up for more than $10. Other than how cool it looks there's absolutely no point in getting this when you can get a Chinese handheld with a better screen with many more games. honestly, I find this pretty useless even to own for free with just Galaga, galaxian, and xevious.

  • I just bought this last month. I think the price tag is a little high, but I have definitely got some good use out of it. I am a fan of the build quality and the D-pad. Wish you could add games somehow. Obviously it is running NES roms through some form of emulation.

  • LOVE the way it looks and all its features and I could even live with a bad screen as I would play it in the dark anyway…but it's not the arcade ROMs? I mean…what year is it? This is officially licensed and they give you ports? That ruined it for me. Also, they should make one of these with excellent controls and have it double as a USB controller, I'd buy that for 150 dollars or more. But that's just me.

  • Why the hell putting an horizontal screen for galaga galaxian and xevious ?

  • I’ve gotten a few of these my arcades as gifts. All I can say is I’m glad I didn’t buy them. I guess they are a cool novelty. But yeah this looks like every other one I’ve tried. At least it looks kind of ok.

  • Love the bezel, really nice touch. Also like the A/B buttons and decals. Purchase idea died once you loaded and found its STILL using NES versions. If it was using the arcade versions it would be an insta-buy!

  • Screen would look OK in the back of a rapists van on the way to the woods on a no-moon night.

  • I have the Pac-Man arcade mini cab with the NES rom in it.. The controls are horrible.. These companies never get the arcade feel down and ALWAYS go the cheap route with stuff.. Is it really that difficult to make joysticks with microswitches in them? who knows…

  • the batteries go out fast. I have the Pac man version and play it every night. umma use the usb from now on

The CEO of My Arcade says they will soon come out with authentic arcade roms mini handhelds but it will cost more.
